Zhejiang province has become a hot spot for foreign investment. In 2019 the growth of its foreign direct investment outpaced other coastal provinces in the first six months of the year. The Zhejiang province in China also has plans to raise its trade volume with Africa to $40 billion by the end of 2022 to account for at least 20 per cent of the total Sino-Africa trade. As one of the major export regions of China, Zhejiang continues to offer more favorable policies and assistance to exporters in order to support the steady growth of the economy as well as the region's high-quality development.
